New Chaplain Named

THE Reverend Dr Julia Perry was commissioned as the new chaplain at aged care service provider Anglican Care yesterday.

Anglican Care has more than 1000 clients in the Hunter and Central Coast in its independent living, day therapy, residential, community care, dementia and respite care programs.

Dr Perry was one of the first women to be ordained in the Diocese of Newcastle and has previously served as chaplain at Newcastle University and the Samaritans.
